These often outnumber reasons why we ought to be positive and optimistic about an outcome. If we allow enough negative reasons to override positive ones, we then talk ourselves out of doing what deserves to be done and with as much effort and enthusiasm as we can muster. Be careful you dont talk yourself out of pursuing something only because you feel effort might outweigh a reward. A reward is waiting to be seized. Fantastic children's toy
I love my Melissa & Doug toys. You always get quality and craftsmanship. Toys that will last from generation to generation. This is perfect better than any sorting block I have seen. More shapes solid and safe for a child to play with

My daughter absoloutely loves this toy! I got it for her when she was about 6 months (way too young ha) and now at 1 year she can figure out how to get most of the shapes in their spot. I also appreciate that they are all wood.

Sturdy
A well built toy made to last. We purchased for our daughter to use even though she is slightly phasing out of this style toy, she loves it and despite all the wear and play the colors of the shapes have not chipped or scratched. Our kids will get tons of play with this for many years. I'd also like to add that the wood seemed a bit exposed and that scared me (splinters) but in fact it was very smooth throughout.

The shapes are all solid wood and painted nicely. I havent seen any color chipping
This is a quality toy! The shapes are all solid wood and painted nicely. I havent seen any color chipping. It took my two yr old a few tries but he now loves this toy. He will sort the blocks over and over. We are using them to work on colors right now and eventually shapes. I also love the cheat sheet on the bottom of the box for us parents who may have forgotten a shape or two 😊😊 I did find it strange that there is no circle shape? Oh well. 5 stars from this family!

funthe kids we watch 4 of our nieces and nephews and they all love this so much we bought a couple more so they would not fight over it. it is easy for them to get the pieces out of the box without an adult to help them. it teaches them to look for the correct places to put each shape.

Great learning tool
Gift for my grandson age 2. He started to play with it right away. Great learning tool. He would pick out the colors and his Mom helped him with the shapes. I love the wooden toys of Melissa & Doug. It encourges learning and imagination.

If your child loves puzzles and blocks, this toy is for you!
Our 19M old LOVES this toy! She is really into puzzles and blocks. This entertains her for a solid 15-20 minutes, at a time and for that age, we will take it! I do not think our older daughter would have liked this as a toddler. It could get frustrating if the child does not enjoy a little challenge because they have to understand that one piece comes off (that is how you get them blocks out) and that you have to turn the box to find all of the available shapes.

2.5 years old and up, only!
I advise all moms NOT to buy this toy too early. I bought it for my son when he barely turned two and it was so annoying having to slide the lid back on the box every few minutes after helping him put the shapes in. I wanted this toy to be self-occupying and educational. However, he's now 2.5 years old and can put the lid on himself and has a much better understanding of shapes. Thus, it is absolutely both self occupying and educational.

My 3 year old loves it!
My 3 year old son is obsessed with different shapes. He can name everything from a circle to a Octahedron. And when I saw this toy I knew he would love it. And I wasn't disappointed. He plays for hours with it, schooling everyone around about the different shapes in there. It keeps him entertained and busy. This is a good learning tool for little kids who are getting to know shapes too.

Fermenting made easy
I used this product when I made my first fermented foods. It made the process a lot more simply. I like having the date tracker on top of the lid so that you won't forget when you started the ferment. The pump works great at getting the air out of the jar. I recommend purchasing the weights to go with this product. I have made a few different fermented foods using this product now and they have all been a success.
